The Grand Marsden Fête
Saturday 14 June, from noon, on the village green. All welcome!
Attractions
- The Marsden Brass Band, from one o'clock
- Dog show: waggiest tail, best rescue, dog most like its owner
- Tug-of-war, the Rose and Crown versus the cricket club
- Cake stall, tombola, plant sale and teas in the hall
- Grand raffle at five: first prize, a hamper from the farm shop
Lend a hand
We need cakes, strong arms for the marquee on Friday evening, and two people brave enough to judge the dog show. Every penny raised goes to the village hall roof.
